Venue

Western Sydney University’s Parramatta South campus will be the home of the 2026 conference. Set on the banks of the Parramatta River, the campus combines historic sandstone buildings and landscaped gardens with contemporary teaching spaces and social hubs — an ideal setting for learning, networking and collaboration.

Parramatta South is the main Western Sydney University campus in the Parramatta district. Tucked just off the busy intersection of Victoria Road and James Ruse Drive, it feels like a green sanctuary within one of Australia’s fastest-growing CBDs. The campus features a mix of heritage-listed buildings, modern lecture theatres, flexible seminar rooms, and open indoor–outdoor spaces suited to informal conversations and breakout sessions.

Western Sydney University has more than one Parramatta campus. The conference is at Parramatta South, not the Parramatta City campus on Church Street. When using a maps app or booking a rideshare, enter the full address above rather than simply “Western Sydney University”, which will offer you several campuses.

On campus

Throughout the conference, delegates will have access to:

Modern lecture theatres and meeting rooms with AV facilities suitable for presentations, panels and workshops

Scenic outdoor areas and courtyards for coffee breaks and socialising

On-campus hospitality, including a café and catered event spaces such as the Parramatta Boilerhouse precinct

The campus sits in the Parramatta Local Government Area on the southern side of Victoria Road, near the junction with James Ruse Drive. It is adjacent to the Parramatta North campus and a short distance from the Parramatta CBD, restaurants, hotels and the riverfront.

Getting there

We encourage delegates to use public transport where possible.

By light rail

Take the L4 Parramatta Light Rail and alight at Yallamundi, about a five minute walk from campus. Trams run roughly every nine minutes between 5am and 1am, seven days a week. The line runs between Westmead and Carlingford via the Parramatta CBD.

By train

Parramatta Station is a major interchange with frequent services from the Sydney CBD and across the Sydney Trains network. From the station, connect to the light rail or a bus for the final leg to campus.

By bus

Several routes run along Victoria Road with stops close to the campus entrances. Use the Transport for NSW trip planner below for times and stops.

By car

Vehicle access to Parramatta South is via Victoria Road. Parking on and around campus is limited and is restricted to designated areas, with rules and fees varying by time and day.

Parking passes will be available from the Registration Desk. Further parking details will be provided closer to the conference.
